The only downside to these changes is that Bastion has traded his self-repair for a less useful ‘Ironclad’ defense buff during these Assault and Artillery mo

So many people are focusing on what the story might be, or how a campaign might look based on the tidbits of lore we’ve garnered from short films and comics. I’d like to learn more about Reinhardt, sure, but that’s not what Overwatch 2 needs to be. It needs a refined combat loop that offers you the same thrills of Competitive play, but in co-op

The stealth-assassin hero may not be the first to come to mind when picking for a PvE match, but the changes made to her character in Overwatch 2 have cranked up her abilities with only a minor nerf to her bullet damage. The game was developed in 2007, but according to the Xbox boss Phil Spencer, became locked in a complicated legal limbo over the rights to James Bond. Between Microsoft, Nintendo, and EON (the owners of the James Bond license), it was simply too difficult to come to an agreement on business terms, and the game was eventually shelved. Graslu00, whose video shows the game in its entirety, was cagey on where the new footage came from, saying only «patience is k

With the release of Overwatch 2 , players have been anticipating the exciting PvE story mode and its new enemies . Unlike the standard 5v5, PvE is a different beast entirely, and teams will have to focus on crowd control and DPS, so maybe your beloved Lúcio or Doomfist might have to warm the bench

The Null Sector has appeared as Overwatch’s PvE enemies for various Seasonal Events, and Blizzard is looking to make big changes and additions to the robot army. The BlizzConline showcase revealed enemy types like objective units that carry bombs, upgraded versions of Omnic grunts, spry little bots referred to as «chickens» internally at Blizzard, and several m

The game’s initial trailer also revealed the inclusion of customizable abilities, which will likely include tweakable visual flair for hero Ultimates. But this is Activision we’re talking about and learning things isn’t one of its strong suits. So because the method of unending sequels has worked for Call Of Duty, Activision applies the same strategy to all of its games. Hence why Overwatch 2 exists even though it should

As a result, most of my Overwatch group began to fall off of the game since it was beginning to feel stagnant. It was no longer an evolving experience that was exciting and fresh. But these damage types — like «freeze damage» and «electrical damage» — change how enemies behave and how Heroes can attack them. For example: on Reinhardt’s Talent page, Blizzard shows an ability called Icy Pains. It reads: «Charge deals 150% more Pin damage to Frozen enemies and keeps enemies Frozen while they’re Pinn

With over 30 playable heroes already, there is no shortage of unique characters to choose from when readying for a fight. Still, it’s always fun to try out a brand new hero, who brings their own dynamic and playstyle. With the pandemic, I made some concessions and accepted that Blizzard would probably hold off on releasing Overwatch 2 until 2021. It now looks like Overwatch 2 tier list 2 won’t be out until 2022 at the earliest, which likely means regular vanilla Overwatch won’t see any significant updates for over a year. We used to get three new heroes every year. In 2020, we only got Echo and she was confirmed to be the last new hero until Overwatch 2 arrives . We also used to get some new maps every year, but we only got Havana in 2019 and Kanezaka this year (and that’s a deathmatch-only map so who cares about that.) Even the events have felt half-hearted as they’ve added nothing but new title screens with some old modes recycled and maybe slightly retooled. The only reason we even get new skins anymore is so Blizzard can still rake in that sweet lootbox mo
